Sarah Taillier

Committee Member

Sarah Taillier has a diverse media background. She honed her love for broadcasting while volunteering at a local radio station.


Her career officially started when she moved to regional Western Australia to work as a video journalist for the WIN News Network. She then became a multi-platform reporter at the ABC, where she was also the Lead Reporter for the Mid-West, Wheatbelt, Goldfields and Esperance regions.


Sarah subsequently worked in London in television production before returning to ABC Perth to take up a radio producing role.


She was a producer on the Focus program in 2020 before moving to the statewide Afternoons program.


At Curtin, Sarah teaches Radio News, Video News and News Writing and Reporting. She remains an avid supporter of regional reporting.
