In addition to leading the ECU postgraduate broadcasting course, Andrea Burns is an award-winning journalist, who has worked across print, radio and television news and current affairs as a reporter, producer and presenter.

With more than two decades’ experience, she has covered some of the biggest stories to have made news.

Andrea is also now an accomplished practitioner academic. She is currently leading curriculum design in the undergraduate, post-graduate and Masters space.
